Angus Byers is a Montreal-based tattoo artist known for his meticulous dot work, bold blackwork, and intricate gothic etching style tattoos. With a background in illustration and a passion for detail, Angus works closely with each client to design custom tattoos that reflect both their vision and his distinctive aesthetic. With over 13 years of experience, his practice emphasizes craftsmanship, comfort, and a collaborative creative process, making him a sought-after name in Montreal’s tattoo community.

Angus apprenticed under Melissa Valiquette for two years and together they opened DFA Tattoos in 2014. In 2025 Angus opened his own shop in the historic Chateau Saint Ambroise (near the Atwater Market).
